CLO 3D Tips: How to apply thickness | particle distance | change the color

After labeling the skirt, next, we are going to improve on this skirt. We want to apply the thickness to this skirt pattern as well as changing the particle distance onto the pattern itself.

So first I'm going to. So grab this.

Transform Pattern tool over here and then command/control plus letter A to marquee selects all the pattern pieces and I'm going to come over here to this property editor.
I want to change the particle distance to 7.
OK.

So, I'm going to scroll down until I see particle distance.
I'm going to click and highlighted and change it to 7.
So next I'm going to zoom out a little bit and apply the thickness to the skirt and the waistband.

So, we want the skirt and the waistband thickness to be one and a half.
So, I'm going to come over here and under this property editor I want thickness rendering to be 1.5 press return/enter on the keyboard to confirm as well as the skirt, and the skirt’s hint itself right there.
1.5. then, I'm going to zoom in a little bit here.

I want to change the color of the waistband to blue.
To do so, I'm going to come over here to this object browser and click on that waistband fabric right there and come down here.

To this property editor and click on this color swatch.
To bring this color window and I'm going to select blue color.
Next, I'm going to click on OK to confirm.
After that I want to change the facing as well.

So, click on that facing fabric come down here under the property editor and click on that color
swatch right there. And this time, instead of selecting the color blue here I'm going to use this eyedropper and then I'm going to click on that fabric there, and I'm going to press on the escape key to get out of the eyedropper tool and change that color just a little bit lighter, after that.

I'm going to click on OK to confirm, so it looks like nothing really changed much.
However, we can fix that, so next, I'm going to marquee select start facing right there.
OK, then I'm going to come over here to this 3D window right click and I want to select flip normal.
OK, so now as you can see the color just switched from that to a lighter color.

Next, I'm going to change the skirt's hem color as well. Again click on that fabric there. Come down here to the property editor. Click on that color swatch right there, and I'm going to click on that eyedropper and click one on.

That skirt waistband to select. Then, as you can see, we just applied that same exact color onto this skirt hem. And I'm going to once again press the escape key on the keyboard to get out the eyedropper tool, and I'm going to click on OK, so there it is.

I'm going to zoom. Out just a little bit. Then you have it, Designistas! I hope you find this video useful and remember to sub and click on the bell for more awesome videos. Thank you.
