Hello, Designistas! By the end of this video, I will demonstrate how to create a professional PDF sewing template in Adobe Illustrator for US-Letter paper size. This template can be used for your digital sewing patterns on your home printer. The steps include creating the artboards, labeling the pages, and saving it as a sewing template that you can use for your e-patterns, such as those created in Clo 3D. Here are the key steps: Creating the Pages Create 40 art boards with a page size of 7.5 inches by 10 inches. Set Bleed and Spacing to 0 (zero). Creating the Borders Create borders for each artboard with a size of 7.5 inches by 10 inches. Use a 2-point stroke and no fill. Align the borders horizontally and vertically with the artboards. Creating the Circles Create 0.5-inch (1/2-inch) circles with a gray fill and 70 percent opacity. Place one at each corner of every art board. How to Use the Reflect Tool in Adobe Illustrator CC 2019

What Do We Use the Reflect Tool For? We use this  reflect tool to reflect  an object. This is my second favorite tool to use in  adobe illustrator . I will share why this tool is my second favorite. For this example, I am going to show you how to draw a perfect heart. I went ahead and drew half of the heart. Now, I am going to show you how to reflect it to the other side. First, the  marquee selects  this half of the heart (or we called it an object in illustrator). Then, click on the Reflect tool or press on letter O on the keyboard. Next, hold down Alt + click on the centerline. This will allow you to get a perfect reflection.  Make sure to select “Vertical” and 90 degrees Angle. I like to also click on the “Preview” to see where the object reflects. Then, click on Copy. After that, the marquee selects both objects and right-clicks.
