In this demonstration, I will show you the simple and effective way to draft basic top patterns using a perfect formula . Hello, Designistas! In this video, I will demonstrate the quickest and easiest way to construct a blazer with shoulder pads and linings in Clo 3D. To clarify any confusion, I've also provided you with step-by-step guidelines here below. Step 1: How to Prepare the Shell for Sewing a Blazer Remove everything except 1/2 of the patterns. Place the pattern onto the avatar. Sew the pattern. Make a copy using symmetry with sewing. Apply folds to lapels (fold strength: 5, fold angle: 360, fold rendering: on). Hems and sleeves: (fold strength: 5, fold angle: 0, fold rendering: on). Sew all the hems. Simulate and check the internal lines. Apply the fabrics (wool cashmere). Remove the front sewing. Sew the buttonhole (width: 3.5), and button (width: 3). Fasten the buttons. Change the button/buttonhole color to pink. Sew shoulder pads. Sew the pockets. In today's tips, I will share three techniques for using the binding tool in CLO 3D, along with some tips and tricks. However, there is an issue with the binding tool not working on MacOS. Important tips for MacOS users: To make the binding tool work in CLO 3D on MacOS, you need to double-click twice. How to Change Unit from Millimeter to Centimeter or Inch in CLO3D Quick and Easy Tutorial Hello, Designistas welcome to Encoder Fashion. I’m Rose. Today I am going to share how to change the unit measurements from a millimeter to a centimeter or to an inch in CLO3D. So, we are landing here in the clo3d workspace. Next, we are going to Settings. Then, we will go to the User Settings and click on it. And here is the window popup. On the left-hand side text, we are going select User Interface and under Unit is the Unit System, along the line to the right click on this dropdown menu to expand and then select any units you would like.  In this case, I will select Centimeter because I use centimeter for all my pattern drafting as well as my sewing.
