Hello everyone, let's create a woman's knit sweater in CLO 3D with easy step-by-step instructions. I will provide you with some measurements and formulas to make the sweater more enjoyable. Additionally, I'm offering 18 high-resolution digital fabric texture files in .jpg format for free. Quick Tips:

There are two sections listed below: one is the measurement, and the second is the formula. We will use the default avatar in CLO 3D to draft this knit sweater. Avatar Size: Tall (Default Avatar)

Measurements in 1/4 (Centimeters):

  1. Top Length: 63
  2. Bust Circumference: 22
  3. Waist Circumference: 20
  4. Hip Circumference: 22.5
  5. Shoulder Length: 18 in (1/2)
  6. Sleeve Length: 60
  7. Wrist Circumference: 13 in (1/2)
  8. High Point Shoulder to Waist-Front/Back: 35, 38
  9. Neck-B-D: 4
  10. Neck-F-D: 12
  11. Neckband-H: 2.2
  12. Hem and Cuff: 5

Formula:

  1. Shoulder Slope-Back Internal Line Depth: 1.5, 4
  2. Shoulder Slope-Front Internal Line Depth: 1, 1.5 (from the Shoulder Slope-Back)
  3. Armhole Depth: Full shoulder length divided by 2 + 4. Ex. 36/2 = 18 + 4 = 22
  4. Dart Line: 8.5; also, a Neck Width
  5. Sleeve Cap Depth: 12
  6. Bicep: Measure a finished front and back armholes, divide by 2, then subtract 4. Ex. 43.05/2 = 21.53 - 4 = 17.53
  7. Notches: 9, 11 (2 on the Sleeve-cap-B), 1 on the Sleeve-cap-F).
  8. Shrinkage/Elasticity: Shrinkage: 90 percent (neckband, hem, and cuff)
  9. Elastic: Neckband: 10 and 80, Hem: 2 and 95

This includes a step-by-step guide on how to fold the pleats, sew the plackets, and finally, attach the sleeves to the sleeve cuffs. Step 1: How to Fold a Pleat in CLO3D Late Update:  Use the Pleats Fold Tool: Knife Pleats Number of Internal Lines per Pleat: 3 Fold Angle: 0-360 Outside Fold: 0 Inside Fold: 360 Tips: Make sure to strengthen the sleeve first by right-clicking on the sleeve in the 3D window and selecting "Strengthen."
