Hi everyone, my name is Rose. In this video, I will show you some tips and tricks on how to add an invisible zipper onto the back of this pleated skirt as well as turn this digital skirt into real-life sewing patterns. In addition, I will show you how to check how much fabric is used for this skirt. Adding the invisible zipper to the pleated skirt
Converting this 3D skirt to a PDF sewing patterns
Adding seam allowances
Exporting as an (Adobe PDF) patterns for printing
Checking how much fabric is used for this skirt
CLO 3D Patterns vs Real-Life Sewing Patterns
CLO 3D Patterns:
we have 12 pleats in totaled

Side zipper
This skirt pattern is also possible for real-life sewing, but it is less common.
Real Life Sewing Patterns:
Essential to Have:

Back zipper
Facings or a fold for the waistband
Seam allowances
Prepping the Patterns
Change the particle distance to 20
Turn on high-quality rendering
Turn on Thick Texture Surface
Apply a Zipper on the Back Skirt
Cut the back skirt in the center back
Cut the waistband in the center back
Apply the zipper notches 17 - 4 = 13 cm
Applying the zipper
Change the zipper to the invisible zipper
Merch the skirt patterns
Merch the waistband patterns
Simulate
Change the color of the skirt to blue
Apply a wool fabric if necessary to get a realistic effect
Rendering the skirtApply particle distances to 10 or 7
Apply Thickness rendering to 1.5
