How to Sew and Construct a Woman Blazer with Shoulder Pads and Lining in CLO 3D

Hello, Designistas! In this video, I will demonstrate the quickest and easiest way to construct a blazer with shoulder pads and linings in Clo 3D. To clarify any confusion, I've also provided you with step-by-step guidelines here below.

Step 1: How to Prepare the Shell for Sewing a Blazer

  1. Remove everything except 1/2 of the patterns.
  2. Place the pattern onto the avatar.
  3. Sew the pattern.
  4. Make a copy using symmetry with sewing.
  5. Apply folds to lapels (fold strength: 5, fold angle: 360, fold rendering: on). Hems and sleeves: (fold strength: 5, fold angle: 0, fold rendering: on).
  6. Sew all the hems.
  7. Simulate and check the internal lines.
  8. Apply the fabrics (wool cashmere).
  9. Remove the front sewing.
  10. Sew the buttonhole (width: 3.5), and button (width: 3).
  11. Fasten the buttons.
  12. Change the button/buttonhole color to pink.
  13. Sew shoulder pads.
  14. Sew the pockets.
  15. Make a fabric copy and apply that to pockets (change the color to slightly darker).

Step 2: How to Prepare the Lining for Sewing a Blazer

  1. Make lining (layer clone under).
  2. Remove link-editing.
  3. Remove all sewing on the linings.
  4. Apply symmetry with sewing on the linings.
  5. Cut and sew the front collar on the front.
  6. Retract 6 cm using the offset pattern function: Lining-F, Lining-B, Lining-sleeves (6cm).
  7. Clean and adjust that sewing.
  8. Sew the linings.
  9. Sew the lining to the shell.
  10. Strengthen, shrinkage weft to 95, then simulate. Change to 98, then simulate.
  11. Change the shrinkage weft back to 100, then simulate.
  12. Change the sewing between linings and shells to turn.
  13. Change the linings fabric to silk (woven silk chameuse).
