A step-by-step video guide: how to sew a button by hand for beginners

  • First, cut the thread at a diagonal angle to get the sharp point, so it is easier to insert into the eye of the needle.
  • Wax the thread with a candle to smooth the thread, so the thread does not tangle along
  • You can loop the thread in an opposite or diagonal direction of the buttonholes. For this demonstration, we will loop the thread in a diagonal direction.
  • First, thread the needle. Then tie the thread off. Next, place one needle on top of the button. Bring the needle up from the bottom of the fabric through one hole.
  • Bring the needle back down through a diagonal hole. Repeat it 4 loops in the same two holes. Then continue to the next two holes.
  • Loop the thread around under the button, but above the fabric twice. This will make it easier for you to insert the button into a buttonhole.
  • Finally, pass the needle through the stitches, then loop the thread around the needle twice. Repeat the process, then snip the thread off. Now, you have a perfect.

Hello, Designistas! In this video, I will demonstrate the quickest and easiest way to construct a blazer with shoulder pads and linings in Clo 3D. To clarify any confusion, I've also provided you with step-by-step guidelines here below. Step 1: How to Prepare the Shell for Sewing a Blazer Remove everything except 1/2 of the patterns. Place the pattern onto the avatar. Sew the pattern. Make a copy using symmetry with sewing. Apply folds to lapels (fold strength: 5, fold angle: 360, fold rendering: on).
