Update with iPage.com Case
I got charged from iPage.com regard of “Enable Free SSL” certificate. What should I do? Based of my experience, I will share with you how to get your money back.
As an iPage.com customer, I went back to my iPage.com account, logon, and go to help. Then, I selected Live Chat. Again, I told the supporter that I got charged with regard to the “Enable Free SSL” certificate without my approval, how can you help me with that matter.
Then, the next day. I received an email from iPage.com saying that they will refund me the amount that had been charged and they will help me with the “free SSL certificate.” I am keeping my fingers crossed, guys.
I will continue with this topic after I get more information from iPage.com…

First thing, I’m going to show you how to renew your SSL certificate for free at (zero cost), and second thing, I’m going to show you how to fix cURL error 60. Again, stick with me guys, I’m going to show you how I did it.

After you enabled your free SSL certificate, now you can log back on to your WordPress, and you will see the message below:
Two Messages Appear Below
“The mixed content fixer could not be detected due to a cURL error: cURL error 60: SSL certificate problem: certificate has expired. cURL errors are often caused by an outdated version of PHP or cURL and don’t affect the front-end of your site. Contact your hosting provider for a fix.”
“Https redirect cannot be set in the .htaccess file. Set the .htaccess redirect manually or enable the WordPress 301 redirect in the settings.”
How to Fix cURL error 60: SSL Certificate
You must contact your hosting provider to get this problem fix. For this example, I contact iPag.com because I bought my domain name and hosting service from them.
Go Back to Your iPage.com
This, when you come back to your iPage.com, log on again. Then, click on the Help button to the top right. Next, you can select Live Chat or phone call. I selected Live Chat. After, that you will prompt me to provide the information I’m showing on the screen. Please, click on this video link for a step-by-step demonstration (How to Renew SSL Certificate for Free and Fix cURL error 60). So, the iPage.com supporter will ask you a secure question. For example, he or she asked me “what was my childhood dream job?” Make sure to provide the correct answer, just for your own.
