She worked for many big companies including Vogue Magazine and Ralph Lauren. Wang worked at Vogue magazine as a senior fashion editor for 15 years. Then she went off and worked for Ralph Lauren as a design director.

Wang was born on June 27, 1949, in New York, City. Her parents were Chinese immigrants to the United States. Wang grew up in Manhattan. Wang is married and has two daughters.

Before she became a designer, Wang was a skater and a ballet dancer. Wang went to the elite Chapin School and the School of America Ballet.

Then she also went to Sarah Lawrence College. During her sophomore year, Wang went to study abroad at the Sorbonne in Paris for a short period of time.

Conclusion

Then she came back to the United States, quit skating, and she started working for Vogue and worked for Ralph Lauren after that. Wang has earned many awards for her successful career as a fashion designer and business women, and she also has been chosen to be a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA).
