How to import Patterns | Adobe Illustrator File into CLO3D

Here’s how to import Pattern/Adobe File into CLO3D.
Option 1: Import Pattern/Adobe Illustrator File into CLO3D
The first way is to be able to bring your Pattern/Illustrator File into CLO3D. So, I’m going to go up to File, and then click Import > Adobe (AI/PDF).
I’m going to choose the File which I’m going to import and then click on Open. That will bring up a window.
Under Basic
- Load Type: Open
- Scale: Millimeter
- %: 100%
- Rotation: Do Not Rotate
Under Internal Shape
- Check: Import as Baselines
- Check: Import as Internal Shapes
Click on OK, to confirm. And here we can see my patterns have been imported!
Option 2: Import Pattern/Adobe Illustrator File into CLO3D
The next option is to import the Pattern/Adobe Illustrator File into CLO3D. Here I am in CLO3D and I’m going to go up to the Library window and then click on this plus (+) sign.
I’m going to choose the folder that has my patterns in it and then I’m going to click on it, and come down here and click on Open. And here we can see my pattern folder.
How to Bring the Pattern/Adobe Illustrator File into CLO-workspace
Next, I’m going to show you how to place the Pattern/Adobe File onto the CLO workspace. See here I am again in ClO, I’m going to double-click on my pattern folder. And then I’m going to click on my pattern, drag and drop it onto the CLO work space. That will bring up a window.
Under Basic
- Load Type: Open
- Scale: Millimeter
- %: 100%
- Rotation: Do Not Rotate
Under Internal Shape
- Check: Import as Baselines
- Check: Import as Internal Shapes
Click on OK, to confirm. And here we can see my patterns have been imported! There is my Pattern/Adobe Illustrator File. There is more information under this video. Bye.
