This is my brother's cs-6000i sewing machine. I’m going to show you tips and tricks on how to use this machine to sew a perfect buttonhole.

This machine comes with many buttonhole functions. However, my favorite buttonhole function is number 30.

The function number 30 is just perfect for a shirt or a jacket. It’s not too thin or too thick.

Tips and Tricks to Create a Perfect Buttonhole

First, place a button onto the buttonhole slot to get a perfect fit. Slide the button in and out of the buttonhole slot to get the right fit.

Next, connect this buttonhole foot to your cs-6000i sewing machine. Then pull down the buttonhole handle between these buttonhole foot markers.

After that select the buttonhole function. I selected number 30, again because it is just right for me. It’s not too thin or too thick.

Finally, you can select the gear on your sewing machine whether you want slow, medium, or fast mode. I Prefer a fast mode.

Now, place your foot onto the pedal, and let’s sew.
